This Weeks Points Lesson

Citi has recently released two new credit cards. But that was not the biggest news of the week from Citi. The biggest news is that they have added American Airlines as a transfer partner. This is HUGE news because it makes Citi the only major credit company with American Airlines as a transfer partner.

That is this week’s points lesson…Transferable points are WAY more valuable than loyalty points and miles. You can transfer them to a myriad of different airlines or hotels, depending on what transferable points you have. So why not have all of them?

Great International Point Deals

Miami to Tokyo - 60,000 points in Business Class

New York to Madrid - 65,000 points in Business Class

Chicago to Cancun - 8,000 points in Economy Class

All fares were accurate at the time of publishing but may change depending on availability. All fares are listed one way.
